Corrosion Materials Research

Focus Areas

Corrosion & Weathering

Design evaluation for material compatibility, coatings selection, and corrosion and weathering analysis. Supporting companies at all stages product development, from material evaluation and planning during prototyping through in-service maintenance support.

Materials & Processes

Decision making support from the materials perspective. Material selection, material changes for international environmental compliance (e.g. REACH), internal specification and qualification / evaluation test programs.

Research & Development

In-depth analysis and fact finding for problem solving critical issues, critical reviews of the state-of the-art (see, e.g., work on additive manufacturing), validation and verification activities for regulatory approval.
